A powerful typhoon is expected to approach the Okinawa region around May 31st, bringing with it the risk of prolonged heavy rain, strong winds and high waves. The Imperial Family members, Princess Hisako and Princess Tsuguko, departed from Haneda Airport to attend the wedding of the Jordanian Crown Prince. JR Yokohama Line has resumed full operation after being suspended due to a human accident. A roller coaster at Fuji-Q Highland amusement park in Yamanashi Prefecture stopped during operation, but all 17 passengers were evacuated safely with no injuries reported. And now for the weather.
