A powerful typhoon is expected to approach the Okinawa region around May 31st, bringing with it the risk of prolonged heavy rain, strong winds and high waves. The Imperial Family members, Princess Hisako and Princess Tsuguko, departed from Haneda Airport to attend the wedding of the Jordanian Crown Prince. Archaeologists discovered a part of a tomb from the late Yayoi period at the Yoshinogari Ruins in Saga Prefecture, which is believed to have belonged to a person of high status. The police continue to investigate the motive behind the murder of four people in Nagano, with the suspect claiming that the two female victims were making fun of him during their stroll. JR Yokohama Line has resumed full operation after being suspended due to a human accident. A roller coaster at Fuji-Q Highland amusement park in Yamanashi Prefecture stopped during operation, but all 17 passengers were evacuated safely with no injuries reported. And now for the weather.
