A linear rain band has formed, causing extremely heavy rain in the same area. Moving on, it has been two years since the devastating landslide in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture. However, the reconstruction efforts have been slow, and many affected residents are still unable to rebuild their lives due to the unstable embankments along the river.
Lastly, evacuation orders have been issued in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture. The entire town, consisting of 3,013 households and 6,502 people, has been instructed to evacuate due to the potential risk of landslides and other disasters.
