1. The dangerous heat is expected to continue today, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees in northern Kyushu. Please take precautions against heatstroke. Meanwhile, heavy rain is forecasted in Hokkaido due to the influence of a front, with the possibility of rainfall exceeding the average monthly amount for August. Be cautious of landslides, flooding in low-lying areas, and rising river levels.

2. Typhoon 6, a large and powerful typhoon, is currently moving westward over the sea north of Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Strong winds are blowing in Okinawa and surrounding areas. The typhoon is expected to maintain its strength as it moves eastward from the 4th onwards, potentially causing prolonged effects in Okinawa and Amami regions of Kagoshima Prefecture. Please remain vigilant against strong winds, high waves, and storm surges.
