First, there have been train delays on the JR Utsunomiya Line and Tobu Tojo Line due to separate incidents.

On the JR Utsunomiya Line, train services between Tokyo Station and Utsunomiya Station have been suspended in both directions since around 8:35 am. This is a result of a person-related incident that occurred at Shiraoka Station in Saitama Prefecture. The authorities expect train services to resume at around 9:40 am.

Similarly, on the Tobu Tojo Line, train services between Ikebukuro Station and Ogawamachi Station have been suspended in both directions since around 8 am. This is also due to a person-related incident that took place at a level crossing between Tsuruse Station and Fujimino Station in Fujiomi City, Saitama Prefecture. The authorities anticipate that train services will resume at around 9:30 am.

Moving on to our second story, a disturbing incident has come to light regarding a suitcase found in the Tama River in Kawasaki City last December. Inside the suitcase, the remains of a 46-year-old man were discovered. Five individuals, including the former partner of the arrested suspect, are now suspected of purchasing the suitcase from a mass retailer in Tokyo. One of the individuals denies the allegations.

Next, we turn to weather news. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a warning for unstable atmospheric conditions and the possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms. This weather pattern is expected to affect a wide area from Okinawa and Amami to eastern Japan until the 29th of May. The agency advises caution against landslides, flooding in low-lying areas, and rising river levels.

In other news, a tragic incident occurred in Toyama City, where a residential house caught fire in the early hours of the 27th. One person was found dead in the burnt remains. Two other residents of the house are currently unaccounted for, and the police and fire department are conducting investigations.
