Moving on to our next story, Tora Toda, a former member of the House of Representatives and the founder of the medical corporation ‘Tokushukai,’ has passed away at the age of 86. Toda established the Tokushukai group, which operates hospitals and medical facilities across the country. With these developments, all evacuation orders in Niigata Prefecture have been lifted.

Furthermore, in Niigata Prefecture’s Sekikawa Village, the evacuation order for 240 households and 759 people, which had been issued due to the risk of landslides, was lifted at 6:40 am. Similarly, in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture, the evacuation order for a total of 1,219 households and 2,662 people, which had been issued due to the risk of landslides, was lifted at 6:30 am.
